Term 3 Week 10

This week our focus is about bees!

Last week Troy came to talk to us about the beehive that New World has kindly donated to the school. We will be getting a beehive for Leaf-cutter Bees. He assures us that they are less likely to sting as they are solitary bees that don't make honey therefore they won't be as protective of their hive. He explained to us how important bees are for our environment and for helping to produce the food we eat.
